Description
Lake Yantyk is part of the lakes of the Tarman wetland complex. Bog complexes are environment-forming landscapes that perform accumulating, water-regulating functions, play the role of biofilters and landscape-geochemical barriers for chemical and biological pollutants. The Tarmansky wetland complex, located near the city of Tyumen, belongs to the subtaiga subzone, the area of the Tarmansky swamp is 1240 km2.
Hydrobiological studies were carried out on Lake Yantyk with an area of 5.8 km2. The lake is shallow, the prevailing depths are 1.2-1.5 m. Bottom sediments are represented by silty sand. In samples of zoobenthos and zooperiphyton, 43 species of aquatic organisms were found.
Data Records
The data in this checklist resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 40 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.

Sampling Methods
During the growing season, samples of zooperiphyton were taken twice per season, in summer and autumn.
| Study Extent | 24 samples of zooperiphyton were collected and processed. |

Method step description:
- Samples of zooperiphyton in the lake were taken from stacked wood, mainly from willow, or from macrophytes, by direct collection, the estimated area of the substrate. Fixed with 10% formaldehyde solution. Analysis of fixed samples of realization in Bogorov's transference under a binocular microscope. Office processing is carried out according to a special hydrobiological method (Methodology for studying biogeocenoses of inland waters, 1975).
